1. What Information Do We Collect?

Personal information you give us. When you create an account, we collect your name, work email, phone number, job title, and department, and your company's name, industry, and address if you provide it. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from your Google account instead.

Information you put into the Service about your own clients ("End Client Data"). AJPX Desk exists to help you run your own business — as you use it, you and your team enter data about your own clients and customers: contact details, tickets, devices, invoices, and appointments. That information belongs to you, not to us. We process it only to provide the Service to you, the same way described in our Terms of Service. We have no direct relationship with your clients and don't use their data for our own purposes.

Information collected automatically. We automatically collect your IP address, browser and device characteristics, and basic usage logs when you use the Service, mainly to keep it secure and working correctly.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive information — things like racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health information, or government ID numbers — and we never see your full payment card number, since Stripe processes payments directly.

2. How Do We Process Your Information?

We use your information to:

  • Provide, secure, and maintain the Service, including signing you in and keeping your account working correctly.
  • Send you service emails you'd expect from using the product — a ticket update, an invoice, an appointment reminder — described in full in the "System Emails" section of our user manual.
  • Process subscription payments, through Stripe.
  • Power the optional in-app AI assistant, which answers questions using only your own account's data (see below).
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

AI-assisted features. The in-app assistant uses Anthropic's Claude AI models to search and summarize information already inside your own account, in response to a question you or your team asks. We don't use your data to train any AI model, and the assistant never makes decisions on its own — it only answers questions.

3. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising purposes. We do share it with the following service providers, only as needed to run the Service:

  • Supabase — our database, authentication, file storage, and backend infrastructure, hosted in the United States.
  • Resend — delivers the transactional emails the Service sends on your behalf (ticket updates, invoices, reminders).
  • Stripe — processes subscription payments; we never receive your full card number.
  • Google — powers "Continue with Google" sign-in, if you choose to use it.
  • Anthropic — powers the optional in-app AI assistant.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business — in which case this Privacy Notice would continue to apply to your information under the new owner.

4. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?

We don't use cookies at all — only local storage, entirely for functional purposes like keeping you signed in and remembering your language. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

5. How Do We Handle Your Social Logins?

If you choose to register or sign in using "Continue with Google," we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. We use that information only to create and identify your account — we don't post anything, message your contacts, or access anything else in your Google account. We don't control, and aren't responsible for, how Google itself handles your data; review Google's own privacy policy for that.

6. Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?

Our infrastructure runs in the United States, through Supabase. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States. If you're located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we'll enter into a Data Processing Addendum with your company on request, the same commitment made in Section 17 of our Terms of Service.

7. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If your account is terminated, we make your data available for export for 30 days, after which we delete it from our production systems — except where the law requires us to keep it longer, or where it's contained in routine backups, which are deleted in the ordinary course.

8. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

No. The Service is a business tool, offered only to businesses and individuals who are at least 18 years old, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor's information has reached us, email support@ajpxolutions.com and we'll delete it.

9. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

You can review or update most of your own information at any time from Account Settings inside AJPX Desk (your name, photo, job title, department, and phone). For anything else — a full copy of your data, a correction, or a deletion request — email support@ajpxolutions.com and we'll act on it in accordance with applicable law. If we're relying on your consent for a particular use, you can withdraw it at any time the same way, though that won't affect anything already done under that consent.

If you're a California resident, see the CCPA/CPRA section of our Terms of Service for how we handle California privacy rights specifically.

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most browsers include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") signal you can turn on. No uniform standard for responding to DNT signals has been finalized yet, so we don't currently respond to them — this is unlikely to affect you either way, since we don't use tracking cookies in the first place.

11. Do We Make Updates to This Notice?

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised, and if we make a material change, we'll let you know by posting a notice in the Service or emailing the address on file for your account, the same way described in Section 21 of our Terms of Service.

12. How Can You Contact Us About This Notice?

If you have questions or comments about this notice, email us at support@ajpxolutions.com or write to the address below.

13. How Can You Review, Update, or Delete Your Data?

Most of your own profile information can be reviewed and updated directly from Account Settings inside AJPX Desk. For anything else — a full copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or a deletion request — email support@ajpxolutions.com. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
